Painting Party During the Lunar Eclipse on Guam

This Saturday was a full moon, lunar eclipse, and a painting party night! I had a private Creative Session with a wonderful group of ladies (and a curious kitty). They were inspired by a photo of an island and a turtle, so we let it evolve from there. My classes aren’t so much of an instructional type as they are experiential. One way to learn about paint is to simply experience it. Just put some on your brush and see what happens. If you are trying to create a certain image, you can think about ways to simplify the process. I do offer basic instructions and a demo about the paint and brushes and how to get started with your image. It’s fun when everyone just kind of goes for it in their own unique way/style. 😉 Just start painting. This particular party also included a little kitty that was very interested in my painting supplies, and a not-so-great shot of the eclipse.
