Last night I held a mom’s art & wine night at Guma’ Tasa coffeehouse, with a crowd of about 20 ladies, and it turned out amazing! Participants were encouraged to bring any image they’d like to paint, supplies were provided, an intro to the basics of how to start and guidance throughout the process was given, and beautiful creations came out of it all. Many participants often start out a bit nervous and unsure about the process, but I always encourage people to just try, to experiment and discover the process for themselves. I am happy to offer tips and suggestions, but the most rewarding part of the experience is to learn as you go.
I am so proud of every single lady that came out and put their brush to the canvas last night. It takes courage to be vulnerable and create something, so cheers to you all. It was so much fun meeting everyone, and enjoying the process of creating together. I look forward to more of these, as now I think I will continue them as a monthly event.
