The latest painting finished and out the studio is a commissioned intuitive piece titled “Alive,” is a piece inspired by the idea that each of us holds a light within. It is an acrylic painting on 12″x16″ stretched canvas. We are all connected in many ways, sharing the air we breathe, the ground we walk on, and everything in between. There is more than enough light within and around us all to thrive and flourish. Just like every tree, we each grow in our own unique way. A tree doesn’t apologize to other trees for the resources it utilizes to thrive, nor does it have a hidden agenda when providing shade, oxygen and humus back to its surrounding earth and cohabitants. On this golden path of life, we are rooted in our histories, reaching high to the light of the future, and swaying in the winds of the present moment. Appreciation is the key.
