I recently found my old portfolio from college (was that really almost 15 years ago?!), and pulled out some old gems. These were from my “Drawing 1” class, using pencil, charcoal, oil pastels and pen, not particularly my favorite mediums. I loved sketching though, I’ve been sketching and drawing pretty much since I was able to hold a pencil. Finding these pieces made me feel nostalgic, proud, and driven to create more.
