Yesterday the Edward M. Calvo Foundation held its first “Guam Is Good Symposium” for patients, caregivers, and family members affected by cancer. The event was held at the Guam Marriott Resort & Spa, and had a variety of workshops and breakout sessions to provide information and support in living with, through, and beyond cancer. I facilitated a workshop on creative expression through art.
The participants and I enjoyed ourselves a lot, there was great feedback and the collaborative art project was a hit. Since I was one of the last presenters, it was a wonderful way to close the event.
