This Saturday February 15th at Guma’ Tasa, Lucas Storts launched his solo exhibit: Guamania. I am really glad I made it to the opening night, always a good time at Guma’ TASA. What I love about Luke’s Guamania exhibit is that it really showcases Guam in the way that you see and experience it on the daily. Our beautiful ocean with coral reefs and sea turtles, and trash. Luke doesn’t try to hide the reality of power poles and streetlights that stand in front of beautiful landscapes. One of my favorite pieces is titled “Hold on to that feeling” and depicts a local mom and pop store. See for yourself!
