Some of you have asked if I’ll be selling any prints on metal at the Holiday Craft Fair this coming Sunday. Well the answer is YES, they just came in and I will be selling all except for one (the Lions, which is for display only). They are all shiny, smooth, mounted & ready to …
A recent commission project that came up was to do a Nutcracker painting as holiday decor, and a Sunflower painting. There is also a cat piece, but I haven’t started that one yet. That’s next! Here is the process for the Nutcracker & Sunflower pieces:
Hafa adai beautiful people of the world (yes, YOU)! I have an amazing array of original art pieces (all acrylic paintings on stretched canvas) available for sale. You can view them at http://CreativeIndeed.net/art or you can also arrange with me to see them in person (contact info below). I will be at the Holiday Craft Fair at …
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Luna Festival this weekend, even with all the rain we had! Thank you to everyone who supported this event in ANY way, even with just good vibes from across the world. THANK YOU. We had an amazing day full of creative arts and expression, with a …
A typhoon of art inspirations taking over my little studio room. Pulled everything out to get a good look at this sea of art inventory. Painted a couple new abstract pieces; a thick impasto-like abstract Guam sunset in blues and golds (16″x20″), and an abstract purplish flower piece (24″x36″). All acrylic paint. Also, I sketched …
Your help is needed! At $300, 15% and 28 days left. The budget is looking kind of grim at the moment. Even if everyone donated just $1, it would get us there. Thank you to those who have jumped in so far, and also to those who have shared this as well, you know who you …
This Saturday was the September Creative Session at Guma’ Tasa, and while we only had a couple people, it was an opportunity to really focus in on what I was creating. I wanted to create some kind of enchanted forest artwork, but with a Guam jungle setting instead.
The other day I really needed to just sit and paint something. I chose these two small canvases (6″x8″), because I had an idea that I wanted to do pretty quickly, rather than a large piece. The first piece I did was a dark, “Amethyst Latte Stone” piece, with a sort of crystal and grunge …
Friday night, I took myself on an artist date, not knowing what I’d create. Julia Cameron, author of The Artist’s Way, is known for encouraging “artist dates,” where you make time away from your usual work just to enjoy yourself, by yourself. It is a really rewarding experience, and I really cherish time for solitude. …
“IlluminLatte” is an abstract latte stone painting I did recently. I recorded the process from start to finish, sharing and explaining my painting style. This piece is an acrylic painting done on stretched canvas, and all the paint is Chroma brand metallic acrylics. This is a full length video, just over 20 minutes. Below is …
This weekend we had a very quiet Creative Session, but no shortage of creativity! Lots of imagination, hearts, color, wings, feathers, abstract shapes, fairy wings, and coffee, of course! I didn’t get as many photos as I hoped to, but here are the few I captured:
Just as the title states: Skyscapes, Seascapes, Winescapes, Chill Sessions, Studio Shots & Surfboards are what you’ll find in this photo-journal blog post! Enjoy and cheers.
Hafa adai! This weekend I had the special honor of leading a Creative Session focusing on the healing power of art. Art has a natural way of being healing, simply through the act of creating. The creative process is something that happens in everyday life… You have an idea, or see something inspiring. You have …

So I had this shirt that said “L.A.” in a skeleton design. I don’t really have any connection to L.A. whatsoever, so walking around repping it feels weird. But the shirt is comfortable, and whatever. Anyway, I decided to throw some gold paint on it and see what happens. I am very happy with the …
EIF was AWESOME!!! An epic night to remember (my sore legs are reminding me just how hard I danced that night) full of music, lights, art, dancing, and all around badassery. Every DJ killed it with their sets… and I might have a slight girl-crush on DJ Cookie. She freakin destroyed the place. Like, in …
I recently had the pleasure of doing an artist profile photo shoot with an amazing local photographer, Robert Camacho. The photos will be used on my website and other promotional materials. I had a lot of fun, and it feels amazing to get professional photos done (this wasn’t the first time, but now my hair …
On Wednesday April 29th, the U.S. Small Business Association held it’s annual award ceremony along with its 25th anniversary celebration. Nine award-winners were recognized for their achievements in the small business world here on Guam. According to a Guam Pacific Daily News article, “Several individuals and families who were honored yesterday in the U.S. Small …
You may have seen my previous post showing the progress of the Tree of Wisdom painting. The piece is finally finished, and I’ve compiled all the footage of the process from start to finish. Here is a time-lapse of the painting, to music: “Firestone” by Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell.
This tree has been a work in progress over the past month, and it is getting close to being finished!
